Steering Committee and Sub-committees
The Australasian Association of Health Planners (AAHP) is guided by a dedicated Steering Committee, composed of Health Planners from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. This group has been instrumental in driving the association's success since its establishment in early 2024. Their leadership and commitment continue to steer the AAHP towards achieving its vision of fostering collaboration and advancing the health planning profession.

To support the work of the Steering Committee, four key sub-committees have been established, each focusing on crucial areas that contribute to the growth and impact of the AAHP:
Communications and Marketing: Focused on strengthening our social media presence and supporting the development of our website, which is set to launch mid 2025.
Body of Knowledge: Tasked with creating a comprehensive knowledge hub for members, this sub-committee also works to build partnerships with universities and professional organisations, helping to establish professional pathways within health planning.
Membership: Focused on growing and diversifying the AAHP membership base, this sub-committee is developing membership tiers and associated post-nominals, ensuring members receive recognition for their professional achievements.
Events: This group works to establish regular AAHP webinars and events, while also exploring partnership opportunities with other industry associations to provide valuable benefits and learning experiences for AAHP members.
Each sub-committee plays a vital role in ensuring the AAHP meets its objectives and continues to serve the needs of the health planning community in the region.
